Thread sealing wire 100% ptef

SPECIFICATIONS:
Thread sealant formed by a single filament of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene).
Used for joints between plastic and metal threaded pipes.
Being a single filament, it penetrates much better inside the thread, ensuring sealing.
Resistant to most aggressive chemical products, solvents, hydrocarbons, acids, etc.
Not flammable, does not burn.
Temperature resistant between -200 and 240 ºC.
Dispenser with protected and integrated 360º cutting system.
Has liquid lubricant on the lower part that improves thread sealing. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Start to unroll the yarn from the end of the screw, following the screw direction.
Add 2 or 3 drops of installation fluid, spreading it with the finger over the Teflon thread.
The fluid is biodegradable and non-hazardous.
Concentrate the yarn at the end of the tube, covering only from 10 to 15 mm of screw.

Regarding the number of turns for covering the screw, we suggest:
• 1/2” pipe: from 12 to 18 turns.
• 1 1/2” pipe: from 16 to 24 turns.

APPLICATIONS:
Used for threaded tube joints in metal and plastic.
