SEALS AND PROTECTS
The MS polymer adhesive is versatile and can be used on a wide variety of materials including metal, glass, plastic, wood, and more. We offer three color options to suit any project: white, gray, and black.
This MS polymer adhesive features an advanced polymer formula that guarantees superior performance. It provides extremely strong adhesion, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring a durable and resistant bond.
Additionally, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and is an excellent option for sealing and protecting any project.
You can find this product in the Chemicals section, under Adhesives and Glues.
FEATURES of the MS Polymer Adhesive
• High Tack is a high-quality MS adhesive that uses MS polymer as its base, allowing for fast adhesion.
• It is an odorless, neutral product free from silicones and isocyanates.
• Cures quickly in the presence of atmospheric moisture to form a flexible and durable joint with excellent adhesion to most materials.
• The MS polymer has high UV resistance and offers strong initial grip on a wide range of surfaces.
• Regarding adhesive strength, for vertical initial grip, the product can immediately support between 2 and 2.6 g/cm² depending on the pressure applied to the bonded surfaces for 10 seconds.
• Additionally, just 5 g of product can support over 1 kg of weight immediately.
• For horizontal initial grip, the resistance is 5 times greater than in vertical, i.e., between 10 and 13 g/cm² for the same amount of product.
APPLICATIONS of the MS Polymer Adhesive
This innovative product can be used not only in general MS polymer applications but also for:
• Fixing without drilling or metal elements.
• Fixings both indoors and outdoors.
• Bonding panels, baseboards, plaster moldings, door frames, mirrors, and all types of insulating materials thanks to its high adhesion.
• This MS polymer adhesive can be used without primer on car bodies and metal connections. It’s ideal for sealing and bonding glass, porcelain, galvanized materials, epoxy and polyester panels, polyurethane, PVC, stainless steel, metals, and wood.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-
Ensure perfect adhesion to the substrate by making sure the surfaces are clean and free of dust, grease, oils, pollution, and rust. Use solvents that do not damage the substrate during this process.
-
Attach the nozzle to the top of the cartridge and cut it to the desired joint width. Using an application gun, apply uniform pressure to the polymer sealant to ensure complete coverage and proper edge filling.
-
After applying Blinker’s MS Polymer, smooth the adhesive with a rounded spatula. For very deep joints, it’s recommended to fill them with a suitable backing material to prevent adhesion at the bottom. Remember to make any joint adjustments before the skin formation time ends.
-
Due to its structure, it's advised to apply the High Tack MS Polymer with an application gun.
-
Do not apply below 5 °C.
