Bimetallic saw blade m42 prolife 27 x 0.9 mm

CHARACTERISTICS:

The M42 band saw blades are made of a combination of two metals, one flexible and resistant to traction (wide part of the band), the other hard and resistant to wear and high temperatures.
It is recommended for cutting steel in general up to a maximum hardness of 45HRC.
High hardness and resistance to thermal wear due to its high cobalt and molybdenum content at the tips of the teeth.
These blades are VARIABLE DETACHED, the objective is to reduce vibration and resonance during cutting.
Variable toothing is marked by two dimensions, for example 4-6 dpi (teeth per inch), where 4 is the maximum tooth pitch and 6 is the minimum tooth pitch in the tooth range.

PRECAUTIONS:
The tension of the band saw blade must be 300 N/mm, although it may vary depending on the state of the machine.

These blades have been designed with a reinforcement in the teeth that reduces tooth breakage.
Its variable toothing reduces vibrations and increases the duration of the cutting edges, prolonging their useful life.
For use with Stainless Steel it is recommended to lower the speed and feed to half.
For the band saw blades with dpp pitch 5-7 and 8-11 the type of tooth is for profile (P).
With a positive 6º angle of attack, for applications:
Toothed 8-11 (same field of application as standard saws 8-12dpp).
Tubes and profiles from 1-5mm thick and solid materials from 10 to 30mm.
Toothed 5-7 (same field of application standard saws 5-8 and 6-10dpp).
Tubes and profiles from 3-8mm thick and solid materials from 20 to 50mm.
